NIRBHAYA

Empowering Children with Safety, Confidence, and Awareness

College Classroom

Awareness of Touch

Is a personal safety program designed to teach children the importance of body autonomy, the difference between safe and

unsafe touch, and how to protect themselves fearlessly.

What is “Nirbhaya (नि र्भया ) – Awareness of Touch”?

Nirbhaya (नि र्भया ) means “fearless.” This program empowers children to:

  • Recognize the difference between safe (Good Touch) and unsafe (Bad Touch) contact.

  • Understand that their body belongs to them and they have the right to say “No.”

  • Build the confidence to seek help from trusted adults in uncomfortable situations.

Our
Mission

To empower children to:

  • Develop body awareness and understand personal boundaries.

  • Recognize and respond to unsafe situations confidently.

  • Encourage open communication about personal safety with trusted adults.

Why “Nirbhaya” Matters

Children often encounter situations where they feel uncomfortable but may not have the language or confidence to express it.

This program helps them:
